In fact, the most absurd and insane part of this story comes in the third act and the plot takes a very strange route where most of the issues are resolved suddenly and it was really confusing for the viewers to understand as to how this all happened. The main thing that I want to say is that the plot didn't support this entire concept as it was supposed to be. Kannada movie "Hisss" may be one of the most irritating movies I have seen in a while.
Not only that, the film is unable to predict the outcome which can really be annoying since it has almost zero tension at all. I am a little perplexed as to why a director like Ahanaa has been entrusted with such a dangerous project. Eventually, Hisss turns out to be a disaster even though some of the items thrown in the story line were commendable. The film does have some incredible actors but unfortunately they don't have much of a role in it. The thing that also prevented me from enjoying this film was the fact that it had a very dark, violent and twisted character which I was not very fond of.
In the end, Hisss really doesn't pay off very much and makes you feel as if you have been taken for a ride. The only major positive aspect of this film was the cinematography and the technical aspects. Overall, Hisss is a big disappointment for both fans and non-fans alike.
This movie was not expected from the cast. The acting was fine, the film was good, nothing really special. I don't think director Ahanaa deserves to be praised for such a disastrous movie. It was really irritating and even more disturbing. My friend and I had a massive fight during this movie. The script was strong, but unfortunately the execution of the script was very poor. One of the key reasons for this movie's failure was the fact that the director was a newcomer to the industry.
The characters were well-written and the rest of the film was well-written, though the problem lies in the execution of the script. The story was a nightmare for me. Hisss consists of all the horror elements that you can possibly think of and it never fails to disappoint. The problem lies in the fact that the story does not give you enough of a reason to be invested in the characters. The film focuses more on the gore than the plot or character.
